Deputy Manager

Overview

We are looking for someone with a passion for care, good time management skills, efficiency and an ability to deal with a variety of situations as they arise. You will also be responsible, experienced and committed to promoting and developing the highest standards of care for our service users.

Pay rate: Salary £33,000 – £34,000 (dependent on experience)

Hours: Monday to Friday (9am-5pm). Work outside these hours as and when necessary to fulfil your duties. It may be necessary to work at weekends from time to time if the business requires it.

Place of work: Longview Care Home

Start date: ASAP

Probationary period: 3 months

Annual Performance Bonus: You will be entitled to be part of the Annual Performance Bonus Scheme. The maximum achievableisno less than £1,000p/a (at our discretion).

On-Call:
You will be expected to be on-call as set out in an On-Call rota. The on-call duties are part of your role and you would not receive additional payment for them. We would expect you to be able to deal with most queries quickly over the telephone. However, there will be times when you will need to attend to a service user, to a situation requiring your assistance or to an emergency situation during the On-Call period. If the on-call period is excessive you may be entitled to receive time off in lieu of this.

Birthday voucher: £50

Christmas Bonus: £150 (paid through payroll and subject to normal deductions of tax etc)

Pension: statutory pension as set out by legislation as amended from time to time.
